La Parguera

A coastal village in Lajas, in the southwest, home to the island's third bioluminescent bay and a maze of cays and mangroves. It is the only one of the three where swimming is allowed, and also the dimmest because of development around it. The village has a weekend feel, with boats, seafood restaurants and access to the southwest reefs.

Example

If your priority is getting into the glowing water rather than watching it from a kayak, this is the only bay where you can.
