Posada (hospedaje pequeño)
A small no frills lodging, usually family run, more informal than a parador and with no official endorsement required. You find them in coastal towns, on the smaller islands and in surf areas. They tend to solve the price and location trade off when the point is being near the water.
Example
In Vieques, Culebra or Rincón, a posada at the beach usually beats a large hotel half an hour away.
