Festival Casals

A classical music festival founded in 1957 by cellist Pablo Casals, who spent his last years in Puerto Rico. It runs annually with a symphony orchestra and guest soloists, mainly in San Juan. It is the island's most internationally weighted cultural event outside the popular tradition.
