Reguetón
An urban genre shaped in Puerto Rico in the nineties out of Panamanian reggae en español and rap, coming up through housing projects and underground clubs. From the island it grew into the most widely heard Latin music in the world. Today it is part of the everyday soundscape, from cars to corner stores.
Exemple
Reggaeton is not tourist music here. It plays on the bus, at the beach and in the hardware store, all day.
