Agua de la llave
Tap water in Puerto Rico is treated and generally drinkable, and people drink it normally in urban areas. After heavy storms or main breaks, specific municipalities can issue boil water notices. A reusable bottle saves money and plastic, and in rural areas it is worth asking your host.
Exemple
In San Juan people drink from the tap without thinking. At a mountain house on its own cistern, ask before filling your bottle.
