Trulla (parranda)
A surprise late night visit to someone's house with instruments, singing aguinaldos until they open the door. The host feeds everyone and then joins the group, which moves on to the next house. It is also called parranda or asalto, and it is the island's most alive Christmas tradition.
Beispiel
A trulla is never announced. The point is that the household wakes up with the music already playing at the door.
