Natur
Cotorra puertorriqueña
A green parrot endemic to the island and one of the most endangered birds in the Caribbean, with a very small wild population. It survives through captive breeding and release programs in El Yunque and other forests. Seeing one in the wild is rare, and its call gave it the Taíno name iguaca.
Beispiel
If you hear a harsh squawk above the forest canopy it may be a parrot, though actually seeing one is unlikely.
